1. Can I operate a business out of my home?

Certain businesses can be operated at a residence with a Home Occupation Permit. These businesses should not provide exterior evidence of a business and on-site customer contact should be limited. More information is available in the Unified Development Code.

2. What are the regulations for residential boat storage?

No boat twenty-five feet or greater in length may be stored in the front yard for more than four days in a calendar year.

3. Am I permitted to sell my goods/services on someone else's property?

The selling of goods or services on someone else's property is prohibited.

The term "curbstoning" shall mean the offering for sale of motor vehicles, mobile homes, travel trailers, utility trailers, campers, boats, or personal property of any kind, on public or private real property, except as specifically authorized by law, and notwithstanding permission being given to the vendor by the owner of such real property. This definition shall not apply to individuals offering for sale such items on their own real property, or to vendors properly licensed for such sales.

4. What is considered "high grass" in the City of Pascagoula?

Grass, weeds and other vegetation more than 10 inches in height is considered a violation of Section 70-15 / 70-16 of the municipal code.
