MISSION

The mission of the Pascagoula Fire Department (PFD) is to identify and respond to community needs in order to deliver an effective and efficient system of service to minimize risk to people and property from fire.

The services provided by PFD by 57 full time employees. These services include, but not limited to:

  • Fire Suppression
  • Fire Prevention
  • Emergency Medical Services
  • Public Education
  • Rescue Operations (Rope, Confined Space, Trench, Diving)
  • Natural Disaster Response
  • Hazardous Material Operations
  • Smoke Detector Programs
  • Burning Permits
  • Mississippi TASK FORCE members
