The City’s Parks and Recreation Department is proud to offer a variety of programs for all ages. You can register for many of them at the Recreation Center located at 2935 Pascagoula Street. Online registration is also available.
After School Program – For ages 6 thru 12 years old.
The hours are from 2:30 until 5:30 pm. We offer exciting field trips, arts and crafts, sports, homework help, and other fun.
Tennis Lessons – Registration begins in March. Children ages 5-15. Tennis Lessons will begin April 18 at I.G. Levy Park. Must Pre-Register to attend. Cost $30-$60 depending on age. Online registration is available.
The Joy of Painting – The Bob Ross workshop is back in Pascagoula.
Aerobics (For teens and adults only) – A mix of step aerobics, hard bodies and pilates. one hour work out, weight loss and toning in a 6 week course. A variety of classes are offered at the 12th Street Recreation Center. Only $37 per course. Join at any time. Classes are every Tuesday and Thursday 6-7pm. Online registration is available.
Summer Camp (June-July) – Summer time fun for children age 6-12, at the Pascagoula Recreation Center. Included in cost are trips, activities and special events. Photo, birth certificate and proof of insurance required. No camp week of July 4th. 7am-5:30pm $70 plus a one time $5 registration fee for residents and $80 plus a one time $5 registration fee for non-residents. Online registration is available.

Thanksgiving Camp November 21-22 – For Children ages 6-12 enjoy all day camp at the Pascagoula Recreation Cneter with exciting field trip planned. Cost is$35. Online registration is available.
Christmas Mini Camp December – 4 day camp for ages 6-12, takes place during Christmas school break. Cost is $70 plus a $5 registration fee which includes field trip admission and activities. Online registration is available.
Santa’s Calling – Santa will be in our area in December making phone calls to some special child.
Simply the Best Baseball Camp March 12, 2011 – for boys ages 6 and up. Registration begins in February. Session 1 is for throwing, hitting and fielding from 8am-12pm. Cost is $60. Session 2 is for ages 9 and up from 12:30pm-3:30pm. Cost is $60 or both camps for $80. Online registration is available.
Soccer Camp in June – The camps are designed to instruct boys and girls in individual skills, tactics and fundamentals of team play.
Simply the Best Basketball Camp – ages 8 to 15. provides the best instructional and developmental program in the country and they are coming to Pascagoula to teach your child. Come be a part of a program that many NBA players were apart of when they were kids.

Swimming Lessons & Pool Hours (For adults and children) – 45 minute classes offered in the mornings at Andrew Johnson Pool throughout the summer. The cost is only $25 per participant for a two week session. Online registration is available.
Guitar Lessons – Lesson are for children ages 6-13yrs. Students will learn left and right hand techniwues, how to play a variety of songs and a variety of styles will be introduced. You must have your own guitar. Online registration is available.
