Joseph R. Huffman is the City Manager for the City of Pascagoula. Prior to joining our team, Mr. Huffman served for over twenty years as the Local Government Manager for Elkin, Havelock, Laurinburg and Goldsboro, North Carolina. He has a Master of Public Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice both from Appalachian State University. Mr. Huffman also received professional training through programs at the University of North Carolina Institute of Government and the University of Virginia Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service.

     Following his retirement in 2011, Joe and his wife, Patty Rosenquist Huffman, relocated to Pascagoula. Joe and Patty have been married since 1981 and have two daughters. In his free time, Joe enjoys being with his family. He also likes to engage in activities that benefit the community such as volunteering and civic clubs. Joe enjoys music as well and formerly played guitar for the Starlight Dance Band.
