Arts on the Avenue is a new community art center located at 618 Delmas Avenue in downtown Pascagoula. The center’s vision is to provide an environment for our citizens to experience the Visual Arts in a comfortable “hands-on” setting. Opening on August 2, 2011, Arts on the Avenue diligently strives to promote and expand Pascagoula’s local art community by providing an art gallery, a fully functioning pottery studio, and art classrooms. Arts on the Avenue holds a photography class, children’s art classes, painting classes, and pottery classes. Overseen by a private board, the gallery provides a showroom for local painters, sculptors, jewelry makers, photographers, and other artisans.
