Pascagoula, Miss., August 2, 2017 – Pascagoula’s City Council is continuing to support businesses in the community by inviting them to participate in the city council meetings. Those who choose to submit information will be highlighted under the ‘Business Spotlight’ section of the agenda.
During the ‘Business Spotlight,’ the Mayor will announce the businesses highlighted that week while the business’s logo is on display. A representative of the business would be invited to attend the meeting.
“The City Council and I would like to promote the various options that can be found in Pascagoula,” said Mayor Dane Maxwell. “We are Pascagoula, and we want to make sure we are supporting our local economy by supporting our local businesses. This is just another step for our city to be pro-business.”
‘Business Spotlight’ will begin at the City Council’s August 15 meeting. Businesses will need to submit information through the city’s website, cityofpascagoula.com. Businesses can find the form under the community section on the homepage. For questions, please contact Assistant City Manager Frank Corder at 228.938.6723.
