The City of Pascagoula, one of Mississippi’s largest cities, is the County Seat of Jackson County. Our community is 15.38 square miles in size and is bordered by the Gulf of Mexico to the south and the Pascagoula River, the last free-flowing river in the United States. With relatively affordable housing, schools that are among the best in the State of Mississippi, premier healthcare facilities, home to two of Mississippi’s largest employers, Huntington-Ingalls Shipbuilding and the Chevron Pascagoula Refinery, and a unique beauty found all over town, it easy to understand why 22,000 people are proud to call Pascagoula home.
