This pier connects with the Historic Pathway (PDF), the Historic Pascagoula Bike Route and the Pascagoula River Blueway (PDF). This site’s location, overlooking a shallow tidal marsh and bayou, indicates high potential for viewing a variety of water-dependent birds. Look for wading birds along the marsh and bayou edges, and rails and other marsh species in the marsh. Waterbirds may also be present in the bayou.
